Sam* was involved in a motor vehicle accident and suffered what he believed to be minor injuries that would fully resolve with treatment and time. Thankfully his neck, hand and wrist injuries fully resolved. He did however, have some ongoing issues with his shoulder where it would be aggravated with heavier work.

The team at Trilby Misso gathered the medical evidence and evidence from his employer to build the claim. Given he had 34 years left in the workforce and while his injury wasn’t major, it did flare up from time to time with heavier work. It was argued this put him at a disadvantage in the open labour market and a successful claim was built for future loss of earnings.

A settlement of $40,000 was reached and Sam was relieved he had taken steps to protect his future.
