    My role as COO of Trilby Misso is to support the CEO in the delivery of Board agreed strategies.

    Do you have any qualifications or certifications?

    • Masters in Management (Leadership and Organisational Change) at University of Southern Queensland
    • Diploma as Company Director. Australian Institute of Company Directors
    • Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) (Leadership Practice Management), Central Queensland University

    What skills do you believe are essential in your role, and how have you developed these over time?

    Over the years, I’ve sharpened my skills via a blend of study and on-the-ground experiences – in other words, ‘lifelong learning’. I’ve got lots of experience running major organisations such as law firms and public hospitals.

    Can you share a significant challenge you’ve overcome in your role?

    Helping to “steer the ship” over time. Law firms are often subject to changing legislation and government decisions, which can create issues.

    What achievement in your position are you most proud of?

    Supporting and promoting a great culture within Trilby Misso.

    The staff and the clients.

    Relaxing on the acreage with the grandkids.
